DISTRIBUTION:

Found throughout Spain- forest and bush in highland areas.

DESCRIPTION:

Spanish red deer are considerably smaller than their Central European counterparts. The coat is not as thick and is somewhat lighter in color. Antlers are not as long or heavy, but are still very fine, sometimes with as many as 18-20 points.

SEASON:

September 15th to February 15th.

RUT:

Last week of September and first of October
